About the Role • Meet company objectives with respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment. • Direct, monitor, and accountable for the operating results of facility to ensure budget criteria, corporate policies and programs are achieved and customer requirements are met. • Responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to direct and indirect reports to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned Team Members. • Direct the development and implementation of internal procedures and controls required to ensure customer needs are achieved within budgetary goals. • Establish standardized customer KPI and other performance metrics and ensure these metrics are communicated with the customer on an agreed upon schedule. • Quarterly presentations to customer senior management relative to our scorecard and initiatives. • Communicate with the customer and demonstrate initiatives supporting continuous improvement. • Work with customer and transportation partners for ocean freight delivery oversight • Other duties as assigned. Your Key Qualifications • A college or university degree related to manufacturing is preferred and / or MBA • Experience supervising in a logistics based industry. • Transload facility experience for Ocean and/or Air Freight • Experience working with an FTZ and all the requirements within a facility • Experience overseeing container Drayage Transportation operations from port to facility • Proficiency in working with operations manager, staff and functional departments.
