Description

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to fill an immediate need with our client in the Poway area. This position is paying $23-24/hr+DOE and will be offered on a temp to hire basis. Please read the details below and apply today if you are interested and meet the minimum qualifications!

Job Description:

  • Coordinate and process weekly payroll for 300-350ee’s, calculate hours and monitor payroll, workers compensation, vacation/sick time, etc.
  • Monitor hours for lunches, breaks, and provide feedback to managers on audit findings to ensure adherence to CA Law
  • Manages all aspects in HRIS System
  • Set up Benefits Administration and send notices to employees
  • May assist with handling garnishments and wage withholding notifications
  • Manages and maintains the timekeeping system
  • All other general payroll and administrative duties as assigned
  • Support the HR Generalist and HR Manager with ad hoc reporting and tasks

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years payroll experience 
  • Experienced with CA timekeeping payroll laws
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Desire and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
