Our client is looking to identify an Accounting/Finance Coordinator.  The qualified candidate will be responsible for the set-up of new customers, and work closely with the sales team, finance team and new customers.

This position will be on-site in the Scripps area, and pay will be $18 to $19 per hour.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with Sales and Accounting/Finance teams to set up new customer accounts for billing
  • Post customer payments by recording ACH wires, cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, and from customers
  • Must provide excellent customer service and have strong follow-up skills
  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:

Degree in Accounting, or Business is highly preferred

Minimum Experience required:

1-2 plus years of work experience

Skills required:

  • Excellent verbal, and written skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to process large volumes of transactions
  • Strong Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level
  • Time management skills
