Entry Level Medical Biller position!

Multiple Schedules available as well as part & full time! 

100% Remote 

$13/ HR weekly pay 

Job Description- We are looking for someone that is responsible, organized, and extremely detailed oriented. Individuals must possess strong multitasking skills and have experience with problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will have a high level of adaptability and must be a team player who can collaborate well with others. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate strong work quality with a positive attitude. Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel and Word are required, and the ability to learn our electronic medical records system quickly is necessary. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate will also have administrative experience and be comfortable handling telephone calls.?

Requirements?

  • High School Diploma (GED) required?
  • 1 year?prior experience in a medical billing department or like setting preferred?
  • Must have strong computer software experience - general working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required?
  • Excellent organizational skills a must?
  • Must be able to type 50 wpm?
  • Must be able to use fax, copier, scanning machine?
  • Must be willing to learn new equipment and processes quickly.?
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player?
  • Must have proven customer satisfaction skills?
  • Must be able to multi-task?

Skills:

Knowledge of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems. Use of computer systems, software, 10 key calculator Effective communication abilities for phone contacts with insurance payers to resolve issues Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments, including communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds Able to work in a team environment Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies, denials, appeals, collections Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures Knowledge of medical terminology likely to be encountered in medical claims
