RemX is looking for an Insurance Operations Assistant for our client! Assist with paperwork that is needed for onboarding a new insurance customer!

Ideal candidates will have experience in the insurance field, well versed in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Teams, and live within the Berkley Heights, New Jersey 07922


  • Title: Operations Assistant, Submissions
  • Employment Type: Contract to Hire
  • Salary: $22.11 per hour
  • Schedule: M - F | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET
  • Location: Berkley Heights, NJ - Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily contact with the Underwriter, Underwriting Assistant, brokerage community and teammates.
  • Review and clear submissions, send broker clearance confirmations, submission file setup, request missing submission data
  • Service account needs (ODEN notice, & Cancellation / Non-Renewal Notices as directed)
  • Research and answer inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • New file setup & maintenance
  • Special Projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • College degree related to business administration / insurance education preferred
  • Work experience as an Underwriting Assistant with involvement in insurance industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Capable of mastering multiple systems and have experience working in a paperless environment
  • Ability to thrive in a high production and fast paced environment
  • A Professional demeanor with excellent customer service and communication skills
