HR Generalist Requirements: 

  • Hours 8-5 (this can be flexible)
  • Supporting Wisconsin, Arizona and Texas
  • Responsible for Terminations, Coaching, Corrective actions, Time and Attendance
  • Responsible for about 285 employees - working onsite is a key part of this role, however they are open to a Hybrid opportunity
  • The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level
  • works closely with HR Manager.
  • benefits administration, onboarding, quality control and policy implementation, recruitment/employment, safety and OSHA compliance, EEOC filings and affirmative action and employment law compliance.
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Assists in the recruitment effort for both exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; ensures all onboarding activities are complete. 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Plan and promote company sponsored events, keeping the integrity of  commitment to employee incentives and rewards
  • Communicate professionally with outside suppliers such as temporary agencies, insurance brokers, and any other vendor of services
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Job Requirements

HR Generalist Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor's degree and three to five years of  HR experience,
    • or a master's degree in HR management and two years of experience in the HR field,
    • or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience, in the HR field.
  • Strong working knowledge in recruiting, retention, performance evaluations, training,  WC, UC, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, PA HRC, USERRA, OSHA, AAP, Right to Know, 
  • No Degree depends on experience.
  • On site right now until trained
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of HRIS software
    • Systems:  Word, Excel, UKG, ADP as long as they have good technology experience
