Patient Team Customer Service Rep

$16.50 - $18 depends on experience + $1 extra dollar if bilingual spanish

American clinical laboratory, a Fortune 500 company that operates in 4 different countries is looking for a CSR for the Patient team.    

 

Employment Type: Temp to hire after 90 days

Training: On-site in Lenexa KS 66219  

Training Schedule: 7am-4pm CST Mon-Fri4 weeks (1 hour lunch)

Post Training Schedules: 8 hr  shift will be assigned between 7am-6pm CST Mon-Fri7a-4pm Sat/Sun (30 min lunch)

 1 day of the weekend availability is required

Job Responsibilities  

  • Manage inbound calls assisting with lab results, appointment scheduling, general info on what to expect and how to prepare for their visit to the Lab
  • Provide quality customer service during every interaction  
  • Work in a production environment and meet daily, weekly, monthly metrics
  • Able to empathize, de-escalate, and deliver difficult news to irate customers

 

Job Requirements

  • Healthcare/Call Center is desirable.  Customer service, hospitality, guest services experience.
  • Passion and empathy.  Ability to handle emotional situations.
  • Tech Savvy – using multiple systems, typing with speed and accuracy, working in e-mail/word/excel and eventually chat

Assessments:

  • typing  / Basic Computer skills / Customer Service Success
  • Must pass Drug screen and background check
