RemX Irvine is recruiting for a Purchasing Associate. This is a great company that offers growth and stability. M-F 7:00-4pm, Located in Irvine. Evaluation to hire. Offering $30- $35/hr DOE.

Qualified purchasers must be competent in their responsibility for negotiating with suppliers and sellers of the assorted products and services that their own organization needs. They also need to coordinate the logistics of having them delivered and paid for.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers
• Manage relationship with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts
• Negotiate best price and terms with suppliers
• Keep updated purchasing and receiving records
• Work with Engineering/QC Department review supplies to ensure quality
• Work with suppliers for vendor RMA
• Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum re-order value
• Prepare and submit detailed reports if required (Vendor performance analysis, buying expenditures etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual in Mandarin

• 2+years recent Purchasing experience.

• BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration preferred or other BS degree preferred or related work experience.
• Logistical qualifications
• Detail oriented with good time management skills.
• Negotiation experience. 
• Must exhibit good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work and communicate in an effective manner with vendors.
