We are seeking a HR Payroll Assistant to fill an immediate need with our client in the Otay Mesa area. This position is paying $30/hr and is contract to hire depending on performance. Job Description:
- Coordinate and process weekly multi-state payroll for 700 employee’s, calculate hours and monitor payroll, workers compensation, vacation/sick time, etc.
- Monitor hours for lunches, breaks, and provide feedback to managers on audit findings to ensure adherence to CA Law
- Manages all aspects in ATS (UltiPro)
- Set up Benefits Administration and send notices to employees
- Handles garnishments and wage withholding notifications
- Act as point of contact for employees regarding Benefits questions
- Manages and maintains the timekeeping system
- All other general payroll and administrative duties as assigned
- Support the HR Generalist and HR Manager with ad hoc reporting and tasks
