COMPENSATION: Up to $85k annually; depending on experience
YOUR DUTIES AS THE SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER WILL INCLUDE:
- Communication with suppliers regarding any quality issues
- Create and implement action plan to resolve any supplier quality issue
- Perform and process audits on the supplier side of the market, and update any risk associated with the supplier
- Participate in screening of the supplier market to identify potential future suppliers
- Work closely with several departments (sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing)
- Tracking and reporting of the supplier quality KPI’s
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO BE THE SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER:
- Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred but not required)
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferred but not required (new grads welcome to apply)
- Must be available to travel abroad every few months (2 to 3 months for 3 to 7 days each time)
- Must be available to visit various suppliers in the United States and Mexico
- Required to work in the office full time
- Willing to learn the processes and act accordingly
