COMPENSATION: Up to $85k annually; depending on experience

YOUR DUTIES AS THE SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER WILL INCLUDE:

  • Communication with suppliers regarding any quality issues
  • Create and implement action plan to resolve any supplier quality issue
  • Perform and process audits on the supplier side of the market, and update any risk associated with the supplier
  • Participate in screening of the supplier market to identify potential future suppliers
  • Work closely with several departments (sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing)
  • Tracking and reporting of the supplier quality KPI’s

Job Requirements

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO BE THE SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred but not required)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience preferred but not required (new grads welcome to apply)
  • Must be available to travel abroad every few months (2 to 3 months for 3 to 7 days each time)
  • Must be available to visit various suppliers in the United States and Mexico
  • Required to work in the office full time
  • Willing to learn the processes and act accordingly
