Patient Team- Onsite call center position

$16.5 - $18 /hr

American clinical laboratory, a Fortune 500 company that operates in 4 different countries is looking for a CSR for the Patient team.   This is an onsite call center position to help patients on the lab testing appointment/ visits.

 

Employment Type: Temp to hire

Training: On-site  Lenexa, KS  66219 Possibility to work remote after some time.

 

Training Schedule: 7am-4pm CST Mon-Fri4 weeks (1 hour lunch)

Post Training Schedules: 8 hr  shift will be assigned between 7am-6pm CST Mon-Fri7a-4pm Sat/Sun (30 min lunch)

 1 day of the weekend availability is required

 

Job Responsibilities  

  • Manage inbound calls assisting with lab results, appointment scheduling, general info on what to expect and how to prepare for their visit to the Lab
  • Provide quality customer service during every interaction  
  • Work in a production environment and meet daily, weekly, monthly metrics
  • Able to empathize, de-escalate, and deliver difficult news to irate customers

 

Job Requirements

  • Healthcare/Call Center is desirable.  Customer service, hospitality, guest services experience.
  • Passion and empathy.  Ability to handle emotional situations.
  • Tech Savvy – using multiple systems, typing with speed and accuracy, working in e-mail/word/excel and eventually chat
  • typing  / Basic Computer skills will be required

Benefits

  • Possibility to work from home after 30 days of training (Once the employee is acclimated, time is not guaranteed)
    • Any agent sent to work from home must have a room with a door to work from, and must pass a visual inspection of the room by leadership
  • payrate:$16.50 per hour -  $18 depends on experience  ($1 extra dollar for bilingual spanish)
