RemX is currently seeking an experienced Materials Management Associate for the branch office of a biopharmaceutical company in La Jolla AND Poway, CA. Exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a quality assurance driven environment. This position is a Contract to Hire opportunity paying up to $23.00/hr. based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintains, monitors, and replenishes inventory in the materials warehouse and GMP manufacturing facilities
• Assists in order and receipt of incoming supplies to support operations for the controlled research and manufacturing facilities per current standard operating procedures
• Performs inventory cycle counts
• Assists in equipment receipt and installation per current standard operating procedures
• Assists management of equipment calibration schedule
• Adheres to appropriate PPE and safety rules
• Adheres to good documentation practices
• Assists on other tasks as necessary
Job Requirements
• High School diploma, relevant trade certification, and some college or vocational training in Materials Management, GMP Warehouse, Distribution, Operations
• Able to adjust to workload on an always changing fast-paced environment
• Able to work on a collaborative environment
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
• May need to work with hazardous materials
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50 pounds of equipment or supplies
• 100% on-site work at corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA
• Occasional evening and weekend work as necessary
