RemX Staffing is seeking an ACH Banking Specialist near Bernardsville, NJ!

This is a long-term contract opportunity (6 months+) with potential to convert to permanent employment.

Position will work remotely; candidates must be in commuting distance of office for onsite meetings.

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

Job Duties:

• Processes daily ACH and Check activities ensuring accuracy of records/member accounts
• Ensures proper crediting of payroll deposits and pre-authorized payments
• Processes incoming and outgoing ACH and balances activity daily
• Investigates missing deposits, amount discrepancies and exercises judgment in executing appropriate adjustments.
• Processes allocations requests, stop payment request, inclearing and all related processes
• Assists Branch and Call Center personnel relative to ACH inquiries
• Coordinates investigation of fraudulent activity with Loss Prevention Unit
• Supports the processing of reclamations
• Recommends changes to internal policy and procedures
• Communicates with member regarding disputes, adjustments

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of banking operations experience, wire experience, etc.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
• Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
