 Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records
  • Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
  • Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
  • Entering employee data into computer database
  • Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
  • Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year high volume recruiting, previous staffing industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • Ability to build strategic recruitment plans and sourcing strategy plans, clarify required job skills and competencies with leadership. 
  • Working knowledge of applicable human resources policies and procedures and California employment aw, including Americans with Disabilities Act and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity.  
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing resumes against job requirements, interviewing candidates against qualifications, and presenting recommendations to leadership.  
  • Utilization of social media sites including LinkedIn, Indeed, Doximity, etc. for networking and recruitment activities. 
  • Intermediate computer skills, i.e., able to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
