RemX is partnered with a highly respected organization to find a Communications Specialist. The successful candidate will provide communication plans and collaboration for designated programs and project activities. Primary responsibilities include the design, creation, and implementation of communication roll-out materials delivered on schedule and on budget from inception to completion. The Communication Specialist will ensure all communication plans and materials are appropriate in style, layout aesthetics and tone for multiple audiences and are aligned with project milestones, company standards/ strategies, and corporate culture/compliance/goals/strategies. 

  • Draft editorials, articles, small synopses in the company’s Journal.
  • Write for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly newsletter, as well as ad-hoc articles.
  • Collect, synthesize and translate data into easy to understand information.
  • Assist in streamlining niche content gathered from stakeholders and make readable for the layman, ensuring appropriate frontline and leadership communication.
  • Advise and counsel project leads and management on internal communications issues, roadblocks, and/or opportunities as needed.

Job Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Communications or Communications related field
  • 3+ years experience in writing/editing, design and communication-based skills needed to develop materials for executive level and staff audiences, mass population email broadcasts, news articles, templates, intranet web page content, FAQs
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment while utilizing quick problem-solving capabilities that incorporate patience, common sense, and speedy creation of high quality communication materials
  • Ability to successfully manage approval flows and build positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume workload environment and still be structured yet able to remain flexible
  • Handle confidential information appropriately and ethically
  • Perform successfully in a motivated, self-starter manner with the ability to work well in collaboration with others
  • Work samples (hard or soft copy) will be required during the interview
  • Strong PowerPoint and Adobe experience
  • Plus: Familiarity using graphic layout software
  • Plus: Familiarity with SharePoint  
  • Preferred: experience in medical, healthcare industry
