We have an immediate need for an HR Generalist for a Contract-to-Hire position where you will play an essential role in supporting employees across this leading organization. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and payroll.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must have experience with high-volume employee 60-70 
  • Food manufacturing background experience is a plus
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety CA laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
