Growth position for a Senior Accountant with experience focusing on Business Processes, integrating divisions , and building departments. The Corporate office needs your expertise as a Senior Leader to Centralize all the Shared Services (which are currently across 8 operating division) , institute best practices, and insure scalability for additional growth.
PAY RANGE $100K to 130K , DIRECT HIRE.
- This job is part Accounting Controller, part Quality Manager, and part Business Process Analyst.
- Shared Services include: Banking, A/R, A/P
- Similar to a project manager because you will be designing the end to end transaction flow and coordinating business process improvements with internal stakeholders , the filed, plus working with IT developers.
- You will be overseeing all aspects related to the creation, documentation, and implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives. (Again, all the Shared Services are currently across 8 operating divisions)
- Not just a project, the role will continue to evolve and add new value-added services and will eventually promote up to Director of all of Shared Services. Visible role with a lot on your plate. Not for the weak!
- Some travel - maybe 10% to the other divisions.
- Work in the Ft Lauderdale office
- BA Degree
- Six Sigma is a bonus
- Min 2 years large company at Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller level.
- Solid understanding of how A/P , A/R and billing works.
- Experience working on integrations and or business process analysis type work where you established new procedures.
- We like to see experience designing and executing the strategy & organization design (people , processes, technology).
- Industry preferred: consumer or commercial services like building or home improvement installations or remodeling.
- Data reporting & analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Asana, MS Project, Visio, Excel (or other process mapping software)
- Decision making and problem solving based on data gathering and analysis.
