Our client has an immediate need for a Technical Support Specialist to work at their Elyria, Ohio site with occasional travel to other nearby locations. This is a minimum 6 month assignment with possible extension.
- Ensure that all IT systems within the locations are operating within normal service levels.
- Provide assistance to on-site staff with technology-related issues.
- Troubleshooting systems and applications: running diagnostics, finding solutions for any issue, and implementing it.
- Manage and run as point of contact to third party vendors, to ensure that they are delivering service as per agreed contracts.
- Escalate issues to the Global IT support teams
- Work on special projects to deliver enhancements to the IT infrastructure.
- Installing and configuring new IT systems to be used by the company, such as hardware operative systems, and programs or applications.
- Ensure that the IT Service Management System is maintained and updated.
