ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

TYPE: Contract to Hire (100% in office) 

WHY THIS COMPANY: Our client is a privately owned, well-established business in Rock Hill, SC. Originally started in Europe, our client has been in business and successful for over 10 years. This office is still a family friendly and smaller atmosphere. Working here, you will be able to grow, learn, and advance your career.  Easy access to the office, located right off 77. 

HOURS: Monday -Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

YOUR DUTIES FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST WILL INCLUDE:

  • Data entry of accounts payable and account receivable
  • Supporting full time accountant with various data entry and administrative tasks
  • Update spreadsheets for invoice tracking, cost analyses, COGS, and monthly sales
  • Record deposits and payments made
  • Assist with paper and digital record retention
  • Various Ad-HOC duties such as updating the filing system, and reorganization of files/documents
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST :

  • Associates degree preferred and/or work experience in accounting & AP/AR
  • Experience/knowledge in an accounting or accounts payable/receivable
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (running pivot tables etc.) and QuickBooks
  • Great communication skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency and time management is required
