An Automobile Parts Manufacturing company is seeking a Accounting Assistant located in Lake Forest. This is a great opportunity with a stable company that provides excellent pay and benefits. This is a temporary to hire position and will be 100% on-site. Offering $20-$24/hr.

 

Accounting Assistant Duties:

  • Receive and enter purchase orders, issue invoices and send to clients
  • Assist with Invoice clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis
  • Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Cash posting and deposit checks daily
  • Respond to client correspondence by mail, phone, or email
  • Document all billing related inquiries and issues
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, data entry and check runs
  • Perform monthly account statement reconciliations
  • Consistently follow up on past due to accounts
  • Other general accounting duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Accounting Assistant Requirements:

  • 1-4 years Accounting Assistant or Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • AA degree preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and SAP
