An Automobile Parts Manufacturing company is seeking a Accounting Assistant located in Lake Forest. This is a great opportunity with a stable company that provides excellent pay and benefits. This is a temporary to hire position and will be 100% on-site. Offering $20-$24/hr.
Accounting Assistant Duties:
- Receive and enter purchase orders, issue invoices and send to clients
- Assist with Invoice clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Cash posting and deposit checks daily
- Respond to client correspondence by mail, phone, or email
- Document all billing related inquiries and issues
- Assist with Accounts Payable, data entry and check runs
- Perform monthly account statement reconciliations
- Consistently follow up on past due to accounts
- Other general accounting duties as assigned

Accounting Assistant Requirements:
- 1-4 years Accounting Assistant or Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- AA degree preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and SAP
