RemX is seeking a detail oriented and flexible administrative assistant to join the team of a stable company located in Ashland, VA.  Recent accounting graduates encouraged to apply.

This an onsite position.

  • Answer phones
  • Data Entry
  • Maintain schedules
  • Proofread marketing materials 
  • Daily charging and invoicing of customers
  • Answer customer questions, solve shipping and delivery issues and take new orders over the phone or via email
  • Assist with daily Accounts Receivable Reconciliation and Balancing
  • Post journal entries into QuickBooks
  • Enter purchase orders 
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail

Job Requirements

  • Must have 3-4 years of related experience
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skill
  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Open to working in a pet friendly environment (cats)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products 
  • Able to pick up on new software quickly
