FP&A ANALYST needed for expanding international manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and highly analytical. This company offers stability, advancement opportunities, excellent compensation package with bonus, and a tenured team.
TYPE: Direct Hire- Hybrid/ Remote – will be required to travel to the office in Columbia, SC area once a month for 3-4 days.
FP&A ANALYST DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- FP&A and reporting will be main responsibility for this role
- Will assist in the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Assist with process improvement projects
- Assist the Controller to maintain clean balance sheet by balancing and resolving discrepancies
- Financial reporting / statements
- Assist with month end close
- Assist with external audits and statutory compliance requirements
- General ledger maintenance and balance sheets
- Journal entries, prepare liability, revenue, and expense journal entries by compiling and analyzing information
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Assist in year-end closing of the books
- Handling of accruals
- Prepare liability, revenue, and expense journals entries
- Month end close ensuring journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries have been recorded
- Assist with external and statutory compliance requirements
- Provide accounting research necessary for financial analysis, budgets, and operations analysis
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE FP&A ANALYST:
- FP&A experience required
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field
- 4-6 years of related accounting experience with strong accounting principles
- Highly proficient in MS Excel- including pivot tables
- Proficient with JD Edwards is a plus- will train
- ERP implantation experience a plus
- Project management experience a plus
