Work is onsite, located at the beautiful Desert Ridge Marketplace, High Street. If you never noticed there are offices above the shops and restaurants.
Company has experience strong growth due to referrals and very happy patients and referring doctor offices.
- You will be working at the Hub headquarters of this operation with clinics in 7 states.
- As an Insurance Specialist you take calls from referring doctors
- Then own that patient's financial process to get them approved for the specialty drug.
- Gather information
- Contact the payors (insurance, Medicare) and work with the doc's office on any missing information.
- Your goal is to pull that prescription through and gain a prior authorization approval.
- This is a hub business office, no patients at this location.
The best candidates will have:
- HSD or GED
- BA in Health Care administration - this is a perfect first job, that could lead into Senior Case Manager or a Field Reimbursement Manager career.
- Medical billing or claims appeals experience
- Go-getter attitude
- Experience doing basic insurance verifications
- Understanding of the prior authorization process
- Willingness to learn more in-depth and complex prior auth pull through skills.
- Experience insurance specialists will learn the more advance, challenging aspects of the role.
- Solid MS Office skills
Starting pay is $21/hr to 23/hr Business hours M-F
