TRAINING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST needed for a growing commercial restoration company.  Ideal candidate must have 3+ years of construction industry experience.  Family friendly environment, solid benefit package with growth opportunity.

YOUR DUTIES FOR THE TRAINING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST WILL INCLUDE:

  • Will develop, maintain, and improve the scope of specific training, safety, recruitment of trades, production tracking and the development of field personnel
  • Develop and track the Mentoring / Succession Planning Program
  • Design the Technical Training Program and monitor progress of employees
  • Implement coaching session templates
  • Measure effectiveness of all programs through reporting and statistical data
  • Follow-up on safety processes on the jobsites
  • Schedule equipment and safety training classes  
  • Recruit and hire talent
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires
  • Work to streamline all aspects of work

Job Requirements

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE TRAINING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST:

  • 3+ years of construction industry experience- restoration experience a plus
  • Bachelors’ degree is a plus
  • 3+ years leadership in a training and development role is preferred
  • Mus be able to travel overnight up to 2 night per month  
  • Knowledge of Procore construction management software is a plus
  • Microsoft Office
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills
