An aerospace manufacturer company is looking to fill a Staff Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well know brand in the Aerospace Industry. Located in Troy, OH. Direct Hire position offering $70k.

The staff accountant, reporting to the A&D controller and the General Manager, is a vital piece to the
finance organization of Precision Aero and H-D Advanced Manufacturing.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities
Accounting for general ledger / Precision Aero Financial Statements
• Maintain PAC’s accounting ledger, document and record using internal controls
• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings
• Prepare and complete PAC month-end journal entries, and related account reconciliations
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
• Assist in audits and general ledger preparation
Payroll
• Bi-Weekly payroll processing
• Working with supervisors to make sure all employee hours are correctly stated
• Assist in 401K audits and reconciliation between payroll systems and Fidelity (401k Plan) system
Financial Analysis
• Daily Sales Reporting
• Variance analysis to Budget and Forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Assist in the preparation of the Quarterly Forecasts & Annual Business Plan
• Provide management with product line profitability reports
• Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as needed

 Staff Accountant Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of business finance, or accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance degree with accounting experience.

• Proven work experience in a quantitative role

• Strong analytical capabilities including financial modeling

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

• ProfitKey, OneStream, or cube-based software experience desired
