RemX is now searching for a Financial Analyst to support business strategies to drive profitable growth, reduce costs, and overall business improvement for our client who offers marketing and distributing food products, kitchen equipment and tabletop items.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Support Commercial leadership initiatives and Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes through timely delivery of insightful financial and strategic results

Build and develop models, tools, and mechanisms necessary to address business opportunities, drive automation, improve internal controls, and earn insight across various promotions

Work with cross functional teams to understand Marketing KPIs, media mix model, key business trends/strategies and incorporate that intelligence in the financial forecast for multiple accounts with key emphasis on Sales, Margin and Marketing

Leverage existing customer datasets to help inform and influence business partners on opportunities to drive marketing promotion forward

Support Corporate FP&A processes, including identifying and communicating the drivers of monthly expense variance, risks and opportunities in forecast and assisting in the development of the Annual Growth Plan (AGP)

Create ad-hoc financial analysis for business leadership

Clearly communicate results of analysis, manage multiple priorities, and be a team player

WHAT YOU HAVE

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

2+ years of relevant professional experience required

Intermediate Microsoft excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, lookup functions)

Exposure to category management preferred

Experience working in distribution, retail, or wholesale industry preferred
