RemX is hiring an Accounting Associate in the Houston, TX area.
Pay rate: $16 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
Onsite: Houston, TX
Contract position
Job responsibilities:
- Perform activities required to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
- Work with various internal and external contacts: Purchasing, Pricing, Suppliers, Treasury, Supply Chain, Technical Support Staff
- Performs activities related to AP Payment Processing including GL coding of indirect and employee expenses
- GL coding of non-PO related expenses
- Processes scheduled and exception (one-off) payments
- Creates payment parameters and secures appropriate approvals
- Finalizes payments
- Generates periodic reports and annual tax filing information
- Liaises closely with Corporate/Site Financial and Operations management as appropriate
