An AMAZING opportunity for a Payroll Specialist position for a great company located in Poway.  Stable, excellent pay and benefits!  Contract to hire offering $28-36/hr. 100% onsite. This position will start ASAP!

Job Duties:

  • Process biweekly payroll, yearend auditing, W2
  • Maintain Company benefit documents.
  • 401k tracking and reporting
  • Help Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees.
  • Set up and Process New Employee files.
  • Implement company culture, values, and policies.
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents.
  • Help with year-end reporting.
  • Help with workers compensation files & claims.
  • Accurately maintain employee files
  • Know the labor law and EDD forms and reports.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; college degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in Payroll and Human Resources
  • Knowledge of California labor and employment laws preferred.
  • A team oriented, self-motivated individual who can execute tasks successfully within deadlines.
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ADP (strongly preferred but not required)
  • HR Certificate prefer.
  • Help with workers compensation files & claims.
  • Accurately maintain employee files.
