As a highly regarded healthcare organization, we have an urgent need for LVNs in the West LA area! The chosen candidates primary function would be working in the Pediatrics department.
- This is full time position with immediate start once health screenings have been received!
- Full COVID vaccination required!
Schedule: Mon - Fri, Day Shift
Pay: $37 - $44/hr depending on experience
LVN Job Duties:
- Working with children and asking questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor.
- Administering Immunizations
- Assessing a child's needs and providing initial care.
- Identifying changes in children's symptoms and intervening in emergency situations.
- Monitoring temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keeping accurate records.
- Dealing with the anxieties and demands of parents, and helping families to deal with their child's illness or injury.
- Minimum 2 Years LVN experience is required
- Valid LVN license is required
- Pediatrics experience is highly preferred or a desire to work with children
- EPIC/ Health connect experience is highly preferred but not required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
