Medical Claims Specialist – Remote

Location: Remote (OH, AR, FL, NV, KS, WV, TN, GA, MO, LA, OK, MS, AL, or TX)

Pay: $19.00/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8-hour shift between 8 AM-8 PM)

Are you experienced in medical claims, billing, insurance follow-up, or prior authorizations? Join a growing healthcare team and work from home supporting claims processing and revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls
• Process prior authorization requests
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
• Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and processing

Requirements:

• 1+ year of recent experience in medical benefits, claims, billing, or prior authorizations
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and benefits verification
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• High-speed internet with modem access required (hotspots not accepted)
