FAN EXPO, partnering with RemX Staffing, relies on the onsite paid Crew to deliver an ultimate & unforgettable experience of fun & fandom.  

Taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX. – June 7, 8, & 9, 2024

General Applicant Info:

• Crew hourly rate of pay is $13.00 for all positions.
• Crew shifts are a minimum of 6-hours or a maximum up to 12-hours per day.

Scheduling is based on your entire expo availability following the outline:

• 1st Crew Grouping Scheduled – 
  • Full Availability = Available all day every day – no limitations.
• 2nd Crew Grouping Scheduled –
  • Limited Availability = Not available for 3 days or has any limited daily hours.
• 3rd Crew Grouping Scheduled – 
  • Limited Saturday Availability = Not available or limited working hours for Saturday, June 8.

Availability is captured via Availability Survey after application process is completed. Crew positions are filled based on the availability you list on your survey; requesting a specific crew position is not always possible.

• Ticketing Hall Crew ~
  • Purchasing Tickets (Cashier), Advanced Purchase, Will Call, Accessibility, Customer Service  
    
  • Welcome Crew, Line Directors, Directional, Cosplay Prop Checker, Badge Scanners, Cashiers
    
• Merch Store Crew ~ 
  
  • Assisting Attendees with purchases of FAN EXPO memorabilia 
• Celebrity Autographs, Comic & Artist Alley Crew ~ 
  • Line Control
  • Manage celebrity or comic artist lines
    
• Celebrity Photo Ops Line Control & Framing Crew ~  
  • Directs attendees into proper line and time for purchased photos
    
• Theater & Panel Discussion Crew ~ 
  • Manage lines & manage mic for fans Q&A sessions
• VIP & Ultimate Package Lounge Crew ~ 
  • Keeping Lounge tidy and redeeming VIP & Ultimate Ticket holder for Swag Bags 
• Fill-The-Gap Crew ~
  • Here you get the most exposure and get to work in many different positions throughout your shift
  • Provides breaks and support to Crew members around the Expo or Fill-in in an open Crew position
