Job Opening: Patient Services Rep
Description
Seeking a courteous and professional Patient Services Rep to be the first point of contact for patients, answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and explaining health plan benefits, billing, and services. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment.
• Answer inbound calls, respond to emails, and make outbound calls with phone etiquette always.
• Address inquiries regarding health plans and services.
• Resolve issues, complaints, or coverage questions efficiently and compassionately.
• Explain policies, benefits, and administrative procedures clearly.
• Update accounts, verify coverage, and document interactions in company’s electronic health record system.
• Handle billing questions, patient scheduling, and processing.
Qualifications:
• Minimum GED or High School Diploma
• Previous customer service experience required
• Preferred: healthcare industry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including database, scheduling, and spreadsheet software.
• High level of compassion, patience, and strong problem-solving skills
