Position Details
?? Location: 100% Remote (Equipment pickup required in Irving, TX)
?? Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
?? Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
?? Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, and insurance carriers
- Reviewing and processing prior authorization requests for medications, procedures, and services
- Verifying patient eligibility, benefits, and insurance coverage
- Collaborating with physicians, pharmacies, and insurance companies to gather required documentation
- Ensuring requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines
- At least 1 year of recent experience in medical benefits, prior authorizations, medical claims, or related healthcare support roles
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and benefits verification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate high call volumes
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet with modem connection (hotspots not accepted)
