Location: Savannah, GA |  Full-Time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a Referral Specialist to join our growing healthcare team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in coordinating patient referrals within a clinical or medical office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and track approximately 100 referrals weekly, working closely with another referral clerk

• Scan, fax, and upload patient documents into the EMR system

• Communicate with patients and physician offices to coordinate referrals and follow up on referral statuses

• Obtain authorizations and ensure insurance information is accurate

• Maintain organized records and uphold HIPAA compliance

• Serve as a liaison between providers, patients, and specialty offices to support continuity of care

Qualifications:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (referrals, EMR documentation, patient outreach, faxing/scanning)

• Proficiency in EMR systems and strong computer skills

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities

• Ability to manage a steady workflow and prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
