RemX, the professional staffing division of EmployBridge, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client, a well-established leader in the logistics and transportation industry. Location: Richmond, VA 100% onsite

Hours: 9 am- 7:30 pm Friday-Monday (training will be for 2 weeks from 8 am – 5:30 pm)

Pay: $18/hr

Type: temporary to hire 

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring shipments are delivered efficiently and on time. This position involves evaluating transportation options, communicating with carriers and customers, and troubleshooting potential delays — all while maintaining top-tier customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate transportation options to provide cost-effective solutions.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers to track and manage shipments.
• Identify and resolve shipment risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Research optimal routing via airlines, line-haul, or delivery scheduling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of shipments and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with TSA, DOT, and company policies.
• Address customer or vendor concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
