RemX is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist to support one of our valued clients located in Buffalo, NY
Type: temporary for 4+ months
Hours: day shift
Location: Buffalo, NY
In this role, you’ll help manage supplier relationships, coordinate material flow, and ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
- Purchase materials and services using the company’s ERP system (Sage).
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to meet production and material needs.
- Track and help achieve annual cost-saving targets.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
- Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Certification in purchasing, production control, or supply chain management is a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and perform well under pressure.
- Dependable, adaptable, and a strong team player.
