Now seeking a temporary HR Generalist (Manufacturing Industry – Temporary Assignment)!

Location: Livonia, MI

Duration: Up to 6 months (Temporary Role)

Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Compensation: $23-25/hour

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in manufacturing recruitment and HR operations to join our team on a temporary basis. This role will provide critical support for up to 6 months, focusing either on recruitment and onboarding.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hourly recruitment efforts: job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for production facility roles.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Support HRBP functions with a focus on benefits administration and payroll processing in Paycor.
  • Assist with the implementation and training of Paycor, ensuring system adoption and accuracy.
  • Maintain HR records, including personnel files, I-9 documentation, and compliance-related data.
  • Collaborate with internal HR team members to redistribute responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide support on special HR projects assigned during the assignment.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment and onboarding for hourly roles.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processes, and HR compliance.
  • Deep Paycor knowledge required, including implementation and training experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration with internal HR talent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; HR certification a plus.
