Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Accurately pick products from inventory according to the order list, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Packing & Shipping: Carefully pack items to prevent damage during shipping and attach appropriate shipping labels. Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory. Regularly perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Quality Control: Double-check orders for accuracy and inspect products for defects before shipping.
- Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Documentation: Keep records of all orders processed, including tracking information, discrepancies, and damaged items.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and operational procedures. Report any safety issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the fulfillment team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly order fulfillment goals. Participate in cross-training to support other areas when needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in order fulfillment, shipping, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience with shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, Shopify) and inventory management systems, are a plus.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
