Job Opening: $14 Office Clerk
Description
RemX is seeking an Office Clerk. You will be tasked with converting paperwork to electronic records, follow strict mandates and guidelines that have been established by Florida statute.
Must follow rules of procedure, support judiciary, members of the bar, federal, state, and county agencies, as well as the general public and interacting divisions.
- Title: Office Clerk
- Pay: $14/hour
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (No OT)
- Location: Onsite (Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301)
Job Details:
- Handle batches, scans, and validate documents
- Scan judges paperwork, BSO, writs, and summons
- Respond to internal and external requests for documents
- Converts older paper files to electronic record
- Process and file a variety of paperwork in an accurate and timely manner; enters data into appropriate computer software system as needed
- Answer phones, routes callers, and provides information as required; refers calls to appropriate division/staff member as needed
- Receive the public and answer questions; respond to inquiries from employees, citizens and others; refers to appropriate division/staff member as needed
- Respond to requests for information in an accurate and timely manner Inputs data to standard office and division forms; makes postings to accounts; compiles data for various reports
- Organize documentation and files documents in designated order; retrieves/replaces files
- Ensure that all administrative work performed is properly recorded, filed, and processed according to division policy and procedure
- Maintain office and job-related equipment records and schedule maintenance as needed
Requirement:
- High School Diploma ( must provide proof)
- 6 months related experience
