Job Overview

Join a fast-paced healthcare revenue team where accuracy matters. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity by resolving credit balances, refunds, and payment discrepancies within the emergency services business line.

What You’ll Do

Own the review and resolution of credit balances, refunds, and payment variances
Partner with insurance carriers and guarantors to resolve payment issues efficiently
Prepare and submit accurate refund documentation for timely approval
Investigate unidentified payments, canceled checks, and NSF transactions
Deliver responsive, professional support to internal and external customers
Spot trends, identify processing errors, and help improve workflows
Collaborate with senior team members on complex refund and recoup issues

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required
6+ months of medical billing experience preferred
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Detail-driven with excellent organization and time management
Proficient in Microsoft Office; accurate 10-key by touch (40–45 WPM)
Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
