Job Opening: Fraud Services Specialist

RemX Staffing is now hiring a Fraud Services Representative!
This is a 6 month long temporary role working a hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week onsite)
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze daily fraud alerts to identify suspicious or irregular activity on accounts.
- Investigate potential fraud cases, gather evidence, and assist with filing civil or criminal complaints as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and provide testimony in legal proceedings when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Communicate with members about fraud cases, recovery efforts, and account adjustments as appropriate.
- Assist in developing and improving internal fraud prevention controls to reduce financial loss and protect member accounts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Experience with fraud prevention, financial services, or investigations preferred.
- Knowledge of Verafin (anti-fraud/AML software) strongly a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and collaborate with external agencies.
