As a Remote Healthcare Claims Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring medical claims are reviewed accurately and processed efficiently.
Daily Responsibilities
? Review and process medical claims submissions
? Verify claim information against insurance policies and patient records
? Research and resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and reimbursement issues
? Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and members
? Handle occasional inbound and outbound calls regarding claim status and questions
? Maintain accurate documentation and meet quality standards
?? What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year recent Medical Claims Processing OR Healthcare Insurance experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims and reimbursement processes
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Medical billing experience
- Call center or customer service experience
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
