Operations Manager (Seasonal – 3 Month Assignment)

Midland, GA | $36.00/Hour | Immediate Start

We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a high-volume distribution center for a 3-month seasonal assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and can successfully manage operations, drive performance, and lead teams through fluctuating business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations within assigned department(s) and provide leadership to supervisory staff
• Manage workloads, staffing levels, and workflow distribution to meet daily productivity goals
• Lead teams through peak volumes, month-end, and quarter-end operational demands
• Monitor accuracy, productivity, and attendance while ensuring accountability and performance standards
• Utilize SAP/WMS systems to manage operations and track departmental performance
• Develop and implement initiatives that improve productivity, capacity, and operational efficiency
• Prepare and communicate KPI updates and operational reports to senior leadership
• Train, mentor, and develop employees while supporting cross-training efforts
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and company standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations Management, Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of management experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or retail operations
• Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required
• Strong leadership, delegation, communication, and team-building skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools
• Proven ability to drive results and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible to work any shift, overtime, and 45-50+ hours per week as needed
