Title: CONNECT Licensed Sales Representative
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Start Date: 10/20/2025
Non-Bilingual Pay Rate: $25/hour + uncapped variable compensation plan (average $2,000/mo but could be up to $7,000/mo for top performers)
Bilingual Spanish Pay Rate: $26.75/hour + uncapped variable compensation plan (average $2,000/mo but could be up to $7,000/mo for top performers)
(Must be fully bilingual and comfortable with the translation of the health care coverage, NOT conversational. AmFam has them test and if they do not pass their bilingual assessment, they will not receive the shift diff)
Training Length: 6 weeks (no time off during training)
Training Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm AZ time
Training Environment: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85034
Post-Training Schedule:
- Evening shifts ending at 8:00pm AZ time Monday-Friday and ending at 5:00pm AZ time on Saturdays.
- There is a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation
- Will work a 9-hour Monday shift with a 7-hour shift later in the week
Post-Training Location: Work from home (must be available to go onsite for occasional meetings/trainings)
Key Responsibilities:
• You will quote and sell insurance products: Engage with both new and current customers to provide tailored insurance solutions that meet their unique needs.
• Advise/consult prospective customers on what is the best coverage for them: Offer expert advice on appropriate insurance coverage and options, ensuring prospects receive the best possible guidance based on their circumstances.
• Use multiple systems to run reports and verify the accuracy of information provided by potential insureds regarding their insurance and driving history.
• Explain coverage details and payment options to customers, ensuring they fully understand their policies.
• You may also conduct outbound follow-up on unsold internet leads, identifying opportunities to convert them into satisfied customers.
• Assist existing customers with policy changes and other service needs when customer service is not available.
• Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure compliance and improve policy retention.
• Attend sales meetings, seminars, and educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations, and maintain state licensing

Responsibilities:
- Complete Onboarding Checklist for every new hire
- Ensure each new hire’s starting wage complies with applicable wage and hour laws and Company pay practices
- Review all new hire paperwork for accuracy and ensure that all necessary forms have been received and completed correctly
- Review the Federal Form I-9 and note all necessary corrections
- Make corrections to Section 2 of Form I-9
- Check E-Verify results and communicate with employee and manager as required
- Communicate with the hiring manager regarding the status of the new hire paperwork and follow up as necessary to ensure all onboarding issues corrections are made timely and accurately
- Complete tasks created by completion of the Onboarding Checklist and follow-up until each task is completed
