Provide on-demand education (in-person and virtual) for the doctor’s office staff in regard to Reimbursement challenges and support services that are available for these Specialty Drugs and Buy & Bill drugs.

Educate the provider’s office team:

Minimum Requirements

  • This is a good role for an FRM looking for stability
  • This is a good role for someone focused on Patient Access for drug therapies , someone who has worked their way up in PBM hub services, Specialty Pharmacy PA Coordinator or manager, RN’s. Great next step to build on your career.

Job Description:

  • This role greets patients/customers as they walk in.
  • Check in patient for their appointment.
  • Schedules appointments.
  • Process insurance and prior-authorization before approaching appointment.
  • Collect the coinsurance – can be credit card or cash.
  • Sells over the counter FSA qualifying products like knee braces, etc.-  
  • Utilize NextGen.

 

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards  
  • Experience in a medical office. Any previous healthcare, medical, appointment scheduling, patient facing, interaction, financial discussion, basic diagnosis codes. (All this is helpful)

 

Preferred:

Experience with EMR systems (NextGen).

Working knowledge of state, federal, regional collection and reimbursement laws, HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology for private payer, state and federal plans including coding, billing and reimbursement protocols.

Ability to key 40 words per minute with accuracy preferred.

Summary:

  • Maintains a complete knowledge of each property to effectively sell the hotel and its services.

  • Answer all phone calls using proper selling techniques and maintaining the utmost in professionalism while personalizing each call.
  • Utilize the sales training plan to upgrade selling skills.
  • Recap all reservation information and ensure that all reservation policies are communicated effectively with each reservation/call.
  • Communicate to hotels in a timely manner all special requests and urgent matters.
  • Navigate technology/tools to find the information the customer needs.

Accounting Clerk Duties will include:     Log samples received at the warehouse.    Review & sign off on daily receiving batches upon arrival from warehouse.  Audit the receiving log.   File and record all the daily receiving packets and transfer invoices.    Identify any discrepancies in items that broke upon delivery and the claims.  Record inventory adjustments.  Provide Bills of Lading as needed.  

Its a high energy environment.   You will be at a desk handing all the logs and receiving packets, looking and $, #’s, quantities, and comparing reports to invoices , claims and BOL’s.   You will also be talking and interacting with members of the team and departments all day long.  Must be the organized type with a good eye for detail!
