- High-speed internet with hardwired modem connection

What You’ll Do
As a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist, you will:
- Verify insurance coverage for prescription medications
- Assist patients in obtaining medication coverage and benefits information
- Make inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payors, and payees
- Contact insurance companies on behalf of patients
- Conduct account research and document updates using call center software
- Maintain accurate records and detailed notes
- Follow HIPAA regulations and company compliance standards
- Meet established call center performance metrics
Job Requirements:
Qualifications but not limited to; MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YR OF RECENT MEDICAL INSURANCE VERIFICATION OR BENEFITS EXP (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Must have previous experience in prior authorization, claims, HIPPA knowledge.
- Previous call center experience recommended but not required.
- Must have a quiet secure location in home to work.
- Previous experience with high-volume calls-recommended but not required.
- Good communication skills
- Must have High Speed Internet with Hard wired Modem access (NO HOTSPOTS will be accepted)
- Computer proficient (able to learn new software and navigate multiple screens)
