Call Center Agent Role:

The Call Center Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolutions to our members. This role will take inbound calls to assist people with scheduling regular meal deliveries Telecommunication based customer interaction to answer and resolve a variety of inquiries. This is high volume, customer service environment. You’ll need to be efficient, productive, and thorough dealing with our members over the phone.

Contract Position- potential to go longer 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide resolution for customers.
  • Serve as single point of contact for customers and build a strong relationship supporting them.
  • Respond to and own consumer inquiries/issues.
  • Provide education and status on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests.
  • Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution and attendance.
  • Conduct proactive research on assigned member accounts to identify service issues.

Schedule:

Training is Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 5:30PM for the first week.

After, the schedule is an 8-hour shift between Monday to Sunday from second shift. 

Compensation:

$18.00/hourly – weekly pay 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience.
  • Must be fluent in English/Spanish
  • Minimum of 3+ years of combined education, work and/or volunteer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health Care/Insurance environment.
  • Social work, behavioral health, health promotion, and behavior change.
  • Customer service experience.

  • Determine proper storage areas for incoming and outgoing loads
  • Record damage, shortages or any discrepancies
  • Responsible for having UWC Transportation loads preloaded on time for delivery
  • Responsible to communicate with the Yard Spotter on empty trailers and trailers to be spotted
  • Process freight orders and bills of landing and ensure drivers sign all necessary paperwork
  • Work out of a cubicle answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling and other clerical duties as directed
  • Run stock reports to check for product availability and ensure proper stock rotation
  • Check all orders for special requests and post inventory records • Assist, coordinate and conduct physical and cycle counts

  • Ensures general ledger accounts are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted
    Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Performs account reconciliations on subsystem and GL accounts
  • Assists with account analysis and research
  • Participates in development of functional specifications for projects and updates and
    ensures customizations are defined, documented, and tested, and conclusions are properly
    documented
  • Be able to train, lead, and direct offshore team of 6 to complete assigned reconciliations
    and posting responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and research large dollar/complex bank account reconciliations by
    review of general ledger accounts for comparison to bank statement
  • Prepare financial analyses and reconciliations of accounts related to banking and debt
    related activities, and coordinate correcting entries, as needed
  • Research discrepancies
    and review transactions for timeliness, accuracy and conformance with GAAP and
    established procedures
  • Prepare routine and non- routine journal entries to related treasury entries to related
    treasury activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance combined with 3 – 5 years
    accounting/finance experience
  • CPA or pursuing certification, preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures as relates to general ledger
    accounting
  • Experience reconciling Balance Sheet Cash Accounts is required
  • Financial Shared Service experience is a plus
  • PeopleSoft experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Highly detail oriented and ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines
  • Critical thinking skills with timely, effective decision making
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction

What you will be doing:

  • Update forecasting tools as needed to determine material requirements taking into consideration Sales projections, optimum order quantities, lead times, and plant warehouse capacities. 
  • Work with the New Product team to coordinate the ordering of needed materials for new and seasonal items to meet targeted deadlines. 
  • Prepare Purchase Orders in SAP at contract pricing and within established lead-times.
  • Reconcile vendor confirmations and update forecasting tools and SAP to ensure accurate pricing, quantities, and delivery dates. 
  • Interact with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and provide direction to close outstanding invoices to process payment. 
  • Facilitate the return of non-conforming goods in a timely manner by working closely with the vendors, quality assurance, and the manufacturing plants.
  • Track open Purchase Orders (or backorders) and research with plants and/or vendors to reach final resolution.
  • Interact with plant personnel when material stockouts occur and resolve promptly and economically. This may require expediting material and obtaining freight quotes.
  • Cross-train with other Material Planners to provide support and backup as needed based either on emergencies or vacation needs.
