Leading supplier of flooring, countertop, wall tile, and hardscaping products in North America is looking for a reliable Sales Representative
Salary Range: $55-$75K + annual bonus
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Estimated annual pay between $90,000 and $150,000 depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
Location: Las Vegas NV
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-5, Saturdays 9-1 pm *Must be able to work 2 Saturdays a month
Summary:
The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for growing and developing the sales and margins of porcelain, natural stone, wall tile, countertop, hardscape and mosaic product lines by specifying materials to commercial contractors, installation houses, builders, developers and property management companies located within an assigned geographic territory
Responsibilities:
Develop relationships and Knowledgeable and comfortable with hunting for new accounts in market segments.
o Be constantly learning about flooring, wall surfaces, countertops, and hardscape needs / projects that above companies are bidding
o Understand our products, our market competition and how to position our products o Understand the V.E. (Value Engineer) process to take specified jobs requesting competitors’ products and convert them into product sales.
o Quotes prices, discusses credit terms and prepares sales contracts for customer orders.
o Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on company’s delivery schedules.
o Investigates and resolves customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits.
o Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers.
o Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability. o Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company product.
o Attends trade shows throughout the year as required.
o Travels 80% locally, occasionally nationally and/or internationally.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience; natural stone, ceramic tile or hardflooring industries
- Experience with Commercial Sales targeting large commercial contractors, builders, property management, and developers.
- Strong math skills calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Valid driver’s license and must have vehicle
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
