Job Opening: Patient Access Consultants – REMOTE

RemX is seeking experienced Patient Access Consultants to work REMOTELY for our client. This position will work remotely but most live in the Eastern Time Zone.

• Title: Patient Access Consultant – Eastern Time Zone REMOTE
• Employment Type: Contract with Potential for Hire
• Location: REMOTE | Client provides equipment
• Salary: $18.00 an hour
• Start Date: 6/24/24
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; must be flexible and available between the hours of 8am-9pmEST, Monday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides services to providers, caregivers, and patients
• Answer questions related to benefit verifications, billing and coding support, prior authorizations
• Maintain exceptional customer service while resolving requests in a timely manner
• Coordinate with internal and external providers to maintain program policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
• 3+ years of experience working within medical administration REQUIRED
• 6+ months of experience working from home REQUIRED
• Must have high speed internet and a workspace with minimal distractions
• Must be proficient within Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have the proven ability to communication effectively
• General knowledge of healthcare billing preferred
