RemX is seeking an Administrative Assistant- IT Leadership Support to join a fortune 500 company located in Richmond, VA. 

Hours: 8:30-5 Monday-Friday

Duration: temporary through the end of the year

Pay: $24-$25/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct administrative support to the CIO and IT leadership team, serving as a main point of contact for both internal and external partners.
  • Manage calendars, emails, and deadlines to ensure priorities are met and meetings run seamlessly.
  • Draft, edit, and format reports, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee expense reporting, invoice processing, and supply management.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings, events, and conference calls, including logistics, catering, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, delivering professional and polished communication.
  • Conduct research and prepare supporting materials for meetings and projects.
  • Collaborate across teams to route inquiries appropriately and help drive operational efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the IT leadership team.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant; prior experience in IT or supporting technology leaders is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional presence and exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting with executives, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Dependable, with consistent and reliable attendance.
